Your data lives in secure on-device storage (PouchDB). Uninstalling removes local data, so export a JSON backup first. With cloud backup enabled, your data is encrypted and stored in Azure — log back in on any device to restore it instantly.

In late 2023 a bug in v2.0.0 could corrupt data during app updates. This was fixed in v2.0.1. Since then, MyBikes.App automatically creates a local backup before every restore or import operation — your data can never be lost by an app operation.

Yes. Fuel tracking, parts management, maintenance logging, GPS ride tracking, reminders, and the dashboard all work fully offline. Cloud backup and restore require a network connection.

Sign in with your Microsoft or Google account. Your data syncs securely to Azure-backed cloud storage. A local backup is also created automatically before every restore. You can restore your full dataset instantly on a new device by logging in.

Yes — cloud backup is currently free. A future premium tier may add enhanced backup options, but basic cloud backup will remain available to all users.

Yes. Your backup data is encrypted at rest in Azure Blob Storage using AES-256 encryption.

Not yet — MyBikes.App is currently Android-only. An iOS version via Capacitor is in development and will be announced on the website when available.

MyBikes.App is free to download and use. It contains minimal, non-intrusive ads that help keep the app free. A premium tier with ad removal, enhanced cloud backup, and PDF export is coming soon.
